Charges, Billing and Insurance

The cost of healthcare depends on many factors, including the services provided, your insurance coverage,
and eligibility for financial assistance. At West Carroll Health Systems, we are committed to making the billing process clear and transparent.

Hospital and Professional Billing

You may receive separate bills for hospital services and for professional services such as physicians,
radiology, laboratory, anesthesia, or pharmacy. These providers may bill independently of the hospital.

If you have questions about a bill, please set up email for Central Billing Support at cbsupport@wchsystems.com.

Insurance Coverage

WCHS accepts most commercial insurance plans, as well as Medicare and Medicaid. Because coverage varies
by plan and network status, please contact your insurance company directly to confirm benefits, deductibles, co-pays, and out-of-pocket costs for services at WCHS.

Financial Assistance

We understand that medical costs can be a burden. WCHS offers a Financial Assistance Program for patients
who qualify. Please contact our Central Billing Support to learn more about eligibility and how to apply.

You can also review your rights and options in our Patient Rights Form (PDF) or on our Patient Rights page

Important Notice

The charges listed on any estimate or statement are standard charges and do not represent the exact amount a patient will pay. Final responsibility depends on insurance coverage, eligibility for financial assistance, and the specific services provided.
